Izzy first started working at the practice as a teenager as a sterilisation nurse. She then went on to qualify as a dentist from the University of Manchester in 2018. She completed her dental foundation training year in Manchester before re-joining Sandy Lane Dental practice as a dental associate in 2019. Izzy enjoys all aspects of dentistry and, since qualifying, has completed further training in composite bonding.

Izzy has recently been successful in becoming a Foundation Dentist Trainer and will be guiding newly qualified dentists at the practice. Something that we have been doing at Sandy lane Dental Practice for many years.

Outside of dentistry, Izzy loves drawing and sewing. She even makes some of her own clothes. She loves animals, and currently has several pet praying mantises! She also loves travelling - some of her favourite trips were backpacking with friends across South-East Asia, photographing wildlife in Costa Rica and a road trip across North America.
